XFINITY Mobile is a new wireless service built for the way people use their phones today with the internet at the center of the experience. We use America's largest and most reliable 4G LTE network, along with the nation's largest WiFi network, to give customers a better wireless experience. In April 2018, Comcast and Charter entered into a joint venture to collaborate on developing best-in-class systems and software to drive Xfinity Mobile and Charter's Spectrum Mobile Service. This is a 50/50 partnership that is focused on the development and design of backend systems that support each company's mobile brand, product and service.
We are looking for a seasoned partner management professional with a general management mentality, skilled in cross-functional team leadership, execution excellence, designing and managing high-level business deliverables, and performing in-depth analysis on a variety of industry topics for senior executives. Recognized for excellence in communication, execution, facilitating alignment and creating action plans to support operating goals-this leader will collaborate and work across the Joint Venture leadership team, which includes both Comcast and Charter, to listen, learn, guide and provide strategic thinking and business objectives for the team. This role will report to the VP, Partner Services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Understands the scope of the partnership between Comcast and Charter, its programs, business requirements and budget processes.
• Participates in key senior executive planning sessions.
• Partners with key stakeholders to identify and drive the development and implementation of key goals, objectives, and success criteria for the joint venture.
• Raises conflicts and resolves with the appropriate level of management engagement to build consensus.
• Obtains and communicates actionable insights and understanding through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. As a result, builds recommendations that directly address business objectives.
• Regularly works with partner organizations to facilitate clear communication, transparency and drive progress.
• Analyzes areas of risk. Establishes contingency plans and assumes responsibility for initiation corrective actions.
• Identifies, confirms, and oversees participation from required cross-functional teams. Ensures team clearly understands roles and responsibilities.
• Facilitates and drives the core team to identify and schedule work required to support the success of the joint venture
• Obtains and assigns matrixed resources to the initiative plan.
• Establishes a budget and tracks costs
• Identifies and validates program tradeoffs to balance scope, time, and costs.
Requirements
• Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communication skills with direct and relevant experience presenting ideas and data to senior audiences
• Proven experience managing successful execution of large scale initiatives.
• Business savvy, with demonstrable experience managing partner/customer relationships
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with proven problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
• Self-Starter with the ability to balance competing priorities in a very dynamic/fast paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of financial principles and the ability to evaluate economic models and deployment options for complex projects.
• Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries at all levels with minimal direct supervision.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, juggle many tasks at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another.
• Education Level-Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent; MBA preferred
• Years of Experience-Generally requires 10+ years of related experience.-Management consultant, wireless, cable or related industry experience in a complex, high-tech, cross-team environment.
• Location: Philadelphia, PA (with moderate travel)
