Requirements
Position Description:
Lead the Advertising, Promotion, and Trade Marketing team.
Major Responsibilities:
• Supervise the booking, placement, and delivery of all ads
• Assess results of campaigns and share with marketing
• Key contact with advertising agency
• Identify and develop contacts and look for new opportunities for advertising and cross-promotional opportunities
• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure efforts are coordinated and best practices are in place
• Direct creation of all marketing materials, including displays, catalogs, trade and retail promotional items
• Implement procedures for mailings, production, and routing
• Ensure all deadlines are met for ads, promotional materials, and conference shipping
• Oversee consumer/trade conference organization
• Supervise trade marketing functions, such as Edelweiss management, galley grid updates, and seasonal audio recordings for sales
Required Skills / Knowledge:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, strategic thinker, strong management skills, extremely organized, work well under pressure
• Supervisory experience necessary
Experience Needed:
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of marketing and/or ad/promo experience in publishing
Educational Background Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
