Job Summary:
SapientRazorfish is seeking an Assistant Media Planner (AMP), which is an entry-level role within our growing Media Department. The AMP reports to the Media Supervisor and supports our Media Planners and Senior Media Planners in providing media knowledge and expertise to each client team. AMPs will also work with the Biddable Media team on paid search and social initiatives within the Media Department. During campaign planning, AMPs will collaborate with the Ad Services teams on campaign set up, execution and reporting.

RESEARCH
• Conduct research on target audiences and the competitive landscape using tools like MRI, Pathmatics and ComScore
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new advertising opportunities and technology breakthroughs
PLAN
• Utilize syndicated research tools media planning tools to generate data and drive key insights and strategies
• Create, send and evaluate Request For Proposals to publisher partners
• Assist Media Planner and Senior Media Planner on media plan development
PRESENT
• Assist greater media team with presentations of media plans to both the internal team and ultimately the client for approval and make adjustments as necessary
• Assist with generating and presenting Point of View documents
EXECUTE
• Set up approved media plans by obtaining credit approval and creating buy authorizations within Prisma
• Execute media plans and plan revisions by managing Insertion Orders (including internal approvals, distribution to publishers, and collection of counter-signed Insertion Orders)
COLLABORATE
• Work with Ad Services team to QA campaign set-up and delivery
• Support vendor and publisher relationships
• Consult with Biddable Media to leverage paid search and social as part of a comprehensive plan when appropriate
• Aid with monthly billing including discrepancies and actualizations
• Support Ad Services team with report analysis
Experience Guidelines:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 1-2 years of marketing or advertising experience preferred
• Agency experience recommended but not required
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Relevant courses and/or internships preferred
• Knowledge of basic media math
SKILLS:
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency preferred
