IT Technical Business Analysis Intern, CORP - Fall 2018
Motion Pictures IT responsible for managing portfolio of IT applications supporting the business of theatrical movie distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is a unique mix of creativity coupled with technical acumen. The right candidate must have a profound knowledge on designing and may be required to articulate concepts/designs through mockups, wireframes, user flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes. Additionally, they will be responsible for gathering business requirements, interacting with business executives and contribute out of the box thinking to provide solutions to User needs.
We are looking for an experienced and talented UI designer to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX designers and copywriters. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.
• Work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision. This includes gathering and translating business requirements concepts into interactive wireframes/mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Design user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
• Present and defend your design decisions, solutions, ideas and recommendations that serve the business requirements, making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
• Be a great team player with the ability to collaborate closely with developers, other team members and stakeholders. Be willing to share knowledge and help other team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's in a related field
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university for the duration of the internship and able to work part time
• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
• Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
• Innovative and creative outlook, with openness to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
• Ability to handle and coordinate multiple projects at once; including research, analysis and documentation. This includes iterating your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to teams and clients clearly and effectively.
• Experience with python, social media tools, CMS tools will be a plus.
