Job Title
Sr. Director - Growth
As a Sr. Director of Growth for Meredith Digital you will be responsible for leading a team of Growth Marketing strategists assigned by vertical to define and achieve business goals. Your team will be responsible for creating, driving and managing high-impact growth initiatives in a variety of areas, including audience acquisition (SEO and Social), conversion (SEM and paid social) and retention (email and other messaging channels). Your team will work with a highly focused vertical team of business, product, editorial, and analytical experts to envision, plan, test, scale and optimize initiatives designed to increase brand engagement and revenue.
Key results:
• Guiding a team of growth marketing professionals to develop innovative strategies to achieve engagement and revenue goals across the entire Meredith Digital organization.
• Assist with setting strategies to acquire and retain, at scale, a quality, engaged audience to achieve Meredith Digital’s overall growth goals.
Responsibilities include:
• Work with the Growth Team and key stakeholders across the company to set and execute the strategy and roadmap for Meredith Digital’s growth across all brands and topic verticals; assist growth leads with building out growth models to identify biggest opportunities for growth and help with prioritization of initiatives.
• Provide leadership, strategic insight and establish processes around communication and team interactions to increase efficiencies, build a structure for continuous testing and learning and ultimately growth.
• Influence development of growth initiatives in a variety of areas including audience acquisition, email, social, paid social, SEO, SEM, etc.
• Effectively use data and analytics to evolve and inform the direction of growth initiatives as well as assist with developing requirements for automated reporting or information to help inform and engage internal stakeholders.
• Develop a detailed understanding of our brands and their unique audience personas and develop strategies to effectively engage and grow them, while helping identify synergies and facilitate best practices across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: 12+ years in marketing, management, audience development, growth strategy or related field
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 12+ years of experience working in digital marketing, product or related field
• Experience developing and executing large strategic initiatives
• Experience with building growth and/or financial models preferred
• Data-driven decision maker
• Good critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative, cross-functional, sleeves-up work style
• Self-starter who can take initiative for a specific area and drive performance
• You must have a strong bias towards action and competitive, results-driven mentality. You must be extremely persistent by nature and unwilling to lose or leave problems unsolved.
