I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
Provide expertise in CRM applications for business-to-consumer marketing. Analyze requirements and fulfill list selection requests from marketing groups to obtain desired results.
Directly supports Consumer Marketing, Audience Targeting and Consumer Revenue stakeholders for their marketing campaigns. Candidate must be able to meet deadlines and provide accurate results.
By utilizing database marketing techniques, we deliver targeted communications to our subscribers which improves one-to-one relationships and ultimately customer satisfaction.
This position is responsible for maintaining the satisfaction of internal operating groups and external clients by providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service.

Analyze requirements for list selection requests to obtain desired results. Perform job setup utilizing Meredith’s campaign management system and submit jobs for execution on Meredith’s marketing database. Requests are to be completed accurately and in a timely fashion. Communicate job status as well as issues or concerns to manager and business users.

Learn and maintain knowledge of the business areas being served. Collaborate with marketers and other business stakeholders to define selection/suppression rules. Keep current on any changes to the business as well as the database as they may affect the preparation and the list selection. Maintain knowledge of industry standard list selection procedures.

Provide data governance and data quality support. Assist in data auditing and troubleshooting activities. Be knowledgeable of the relational database data model, content/meaning of individual data elements, and ETL schedules that update the database. Assist in the development and maintenance of the database.

Become an expert in the use of the Teradata Customer Interaction Manager tool. Understand full capabilities of the tool and leverage for the marketers. Assist others in using the database.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business analytics or similar discipline preferred. Work experience considered in lieu of educational degree.
Experience:
One or more years of list selection or database marketing experience. Training in relational databases and SQL.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of database marketing strategies, list selection techniques, CRM concepts.
Knowledge of Teradata Customer Interaction Manager tool a plus.
SQL or similar programming and technology skills.
Basic knowledge of relational database architecture.
Boolean logic.
Ability to make logical decisions and adaptable to changes.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
