The Showroom Experience Manager is responsible for partnering and business planning with reseller management, managing overall sales performance and experience within an assigned storefront; demonstrating and executing sales of Bose products, training retail salespeople, creating a positive Bose experience with customers and with storefront staff, establishing strong advocacy towards Bose and our products within the account and among store personnel, and maintaining defined merchandising standards. The Showroom Experience Manager will effectively create an environment that will lead to providing a differentiated experience for customers.
The ideal Showroom Experience Manager has a strong passion for sales, technology, and electronics, has training presentation experience, is engaging, energetic, enjoys the retail environment, has strong sales experience, is highly self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial drive towards achieving sales goals, can influence others without authority. The Showroom Experience Manager can identify and act on opportunities to build Bose business plans within their assigned storefronts, has strong consumer electronics and retail experience, and a passion for demonstrating and selling consumer electronics products to consumers.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deliver sales performance to established targets.
2. Review and understand sales data and partner with Bose and reseller management to make decisions and implement initiatives.
3. Influence the customer buying decision directly by conducting selling events, product presentations, and training.
4. Plan, execute, participate and document various selling initiatives outside of normal activity to drive sales (account/reseller promotional events, holiday events, Bose promotion/product introductions, sound seminars, etc).
5. Establish a high-level business partnership with reseller management. Meet frequently to discuss results and develop plans to achieve mutual goals and overcome obstacles.
6. Model reference standard product demonstrations using Bose
defined methodology and customer focused engagement strategy.
7. Create an environment within the storefront in which extraordinary and lasting experiences are provided to every customer by personalizing Bose products to fit their unique needs.
8. Actively promote the Bose brand and awareness to build customer and reseller advocacy.
9. Provide exceptional service during all customer and reseller interactions.
10. Proactively and frequently conduct training for retail sales professionals.
11. Ensure that merchandising and functionality of Bose products and displays within the store meets Bose standards.
12. Complete all required daily, weekly and monthly reporting as requested by Bose management.
13. Active participation in conference call meetings along with District Experience Manager, Account Manager, and other Bose colleagues.
14. Actively participate in Bose meetings, conference/individual calls, and training & development programs as requested by Bose management. Documents and provides feedback to Bose management regarding products, product launches, displays, motivation programs, promotions, and areas for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
Models Bose Essence & Values at all times. Has strong experience in retail sales engagement, demonstration skills, and has a strong awareness of consumer electronics industry. Strong presentation and communication skills, including previous training experience. Friendly, respectful, and customer-oriented. Highly motivated, self-starter who can work independently with limited daily oversight. Ability to recommend personalized Bose product solutions through customer questioning and determination of needs. Excellence and results oriented. Works and collaborates well within a team environment. Able to analyze sales data and identify opportunities to increase sales. Exercises judgment within established policies and practices in order to make decisions and implement ideas and solutions. Strong computer experience, including accessing the internet and working with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and also experience with Apple products such as iPod and iPad devices.
Education/Experience: College degree with an emphasis in Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 3 years related work experience in the consumer electronics industry and/or retail sales.
