Description
Responsible for performing regulatory, financial, operational, IT, or special audits under the supervision of a supervisor or an assigned lead on an audit. This individual regularly interacts with all levels of Team Members in departments under audit.
Qualifications
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos LLC “Beyond the Best” Company-wide culture and demonstrating Station Casinos LLC Championship Service Standards at all times.
2. Performs regulatory, financial, operational, and special audits. Assesses compliance with governmental and jurisdictional regulatory requirements, financial accounting and auditing standards, and company policies to ensure company assets are safeguarded.
1. Performs sufficient internal audit procedures, including observations and walk-throughs, document examinations, analytical reviews, reconciliations, and other procedures in order to formulate and express an opinion, render a conclusion, or otherwise meet the objectives of the assignment.
2. Prepares workpapers, ensuring that such workpapers contain sufficient, competent, and relevant evidential matter to support the conclusions noted.
3. Advises internal audit departmental management in a timely manner of findings/problems encountered during an audit.
4. Ensures audit practices conform to department and professional standards.
3. Completes administrative reports in a timely manner with accuracy and completeness, including, but not limited to, report schedules, time reports, expense reports, etc.
4. Participates in training and communicating questions to supervisors.
5. Maintains work areas in an organized and neat manner.
6. Must be a team player!
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Four-year degree in accounting or information technology from an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (“AACSB”) accredited college or university. Must be certified within four years of hire date with a CIA, CPA, CFE, or CAMS.
2. Competency with computer software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
3. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills to communicate effectively with Team Members, management, regulators, independent accountants, and guests.
Physical Requirements:
4. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
5. Ability to work in confined spaces (small offices or cubicles), which may be hot, cold, and/or noisy. Entrances may have 3ft. wide accesses. Casino areas may contain second hand smoke.
6. Ability to withstand prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and grasping.
7. Ability push, pull, lift, and carry up to 15 pounds.
8. Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between properties within the Las Vegas Valley.
9. Ability to work at any Station Casinos property within the Las Vegas Valley, as assigned.
