Fall 2018 Sales/Recruiting
We're in search of two student leaders and campus influencers to spread the word about Yelp job opportunities this Fall. As a Campus Ambassador you’ll be selling our sales career opportunities to students on campus and generating resumes for our Recruiting team. To accomplish this task, you will host events and network with organizations on campus to attract top candidates for our sales team. As a Campus Ambassador, you will act as the liaison between your university and Yelp, and we'll look to you as an expert on how to integrate Yelp into your college.
Campus Ambassador Job Responsibilities:
Attend onsite Yelp training to learn about company values and the sales organization in order to effectively communicate opportunities to students. Must be available for ongoing training throughout the duration of the role.
Dedicate 20 hours per month to being a Campus Rep. This can include but is not limited to: Meeting with career services, speaking with student run clubs and organizations, planning events, hosting info sessions, answering emails, etc.
Participate in weekly status calls with Yelp recruiters and monthly calls with other Campus Reps across the country
As a team, plan/coordinate at least 1 event per month on campus to promote our Account Executive role to Seniors and Alumni
Speak to a minimum of four classes or organization per month about sales opportunities at Yelp
Campus Ambassador Requirements:
You’re a leader — someone who can inspire peers, collaborate with campus organizations, and get things done. Campus reps should be:
Currently enrolled full time as a Junior or Senior
Interested in Sales/Marketing and Recruiting
Involved in student organizations, teams, and/or clubs
Knowledgeable in social networking sites and online communities
Creative, organized, ambitious, and reliable
A self-starter
Enthusiastic and hard-working
Above average presentation and public speaking skills
A great communicator - both written and verbal
Passionate about Yelp and your University!
