Job Summary:
The Senior Admin Assistant will primarily support an executive in the ESPN Multimedia Sales organization and will be responsible for administrative and executive support for this team and organization. Successful candidates are quick learners who possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with little guidance, have strong attention to detail, are flexible in modified priorities, and exercise good judgment and confidentiality/discretion, as well as the upmost professionalism.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Multimedia Sales Directors and Account Executives
• Proactively submit expense reports and purchasing requests for supplies
• Organize contact lists and establish and maintain effective administrative systems
• Answer telephones and ensure that messages are delivered in a timely manner.
• Prepare expense reports, familiarizing self with internal SAP system, track payments and reconcile credit card bills.
• Manage travel arrangements for Sales Managers
• Provide back-up assistance to team members
• Establish and maintain document organization systems
• Order supplies, client merchandise, materials and meals for meetings as needed
• Maintain SalesHub, email/address lists and filing systems
• Assist with various projects as needed
• Ticket Distribution & Management of contractual ticketsOffice Management: Ordering office supplies, organizing mail, guest/visitor reception & security, paying monthly bills, point person on the TWDC community outreach
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of previous administrative experience or more supporting mid-level executives in a corporate environment
• Willingness to work overtime with short notice
• Must work well under pressure
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Superior attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to deal with a variety of individuals, levels and situations in a professional environment
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, action quickly, flexible.
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Exceptional organizational and follow-thru skills with the ability to handle multiple
• priorities in a fast paced environment
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision as well as in a team environment
• Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible
• Strong people skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new programs if necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of current programming experience
• SAP experience
Required Education
• High School degree or equivalent experience
