The Fox Internship Program provides mentoring and learning opportunities to help you develop your skills, network with Fox employees, and learn more about what it’s like to work in the entertainment industry.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for television & film, in particular storytelling through the medium advertising. He or she will have strong writing skills, creative curiosity, and a desire to explore fresh ideas and concepts. Ideally, the candidate will have a deep affection for FX shows as they will be asked to screen a great deal of them.
On a macro level the role will work with our writer/producers to assist in varied aspects of promotions production and creative exploits.
This will include:
• Screening FX content/shows for usable material (bites/shots/etc.)
• Searching for music for use in content creation
• Researching anything from Soda Campaigns to 18th century Danish art.
• Assisting in concepting editorial execution of trailers, spots and sizzles
• Trafficking & posting AV materials to the cloud for review
• Assembling promos and trafficking
• Writing coverage for FX shows
Qualifications
• Knowledge of Word, Excel a must.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere or AVID is a big plus but not required
• We’re looking for a very strong communicator—both verbal and visual—who is obsessed with television, advertising, visual storytelling and pop culture.
• The job calls for creativity as well as organization skills so the candidate will bring both right and left sides of the brain to the internship.
To participate in Fox’s Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
