JOB DESCRIPTION
Associate Manager, Marketing Strategy
Fox Broadcasting Company (FBC)
Under the supervision of both the SVP, Marketing Strategy/Media and the Executive Director, Marketing Strategy and reporting directly to the Manager, Marketing Strategy, the Associate Manager is responsible for developing and executing Marketing Strategies for assigned shows while helping the larger team in the coordination and management of documents, presentations and ongoing communications to the organization.
Duties include:
• Support strategy team with administrative tasks and creation of documents, presentations and communications to the organization
• Manage all aspects of assigned shows regarding strategy; including the development of initial strategies and ongoing updates to them, leading cross functional teams, maintaining clear communications and ensuring execution across departments
• Work closely with all areas of Marketing, including On-Air, Design, Content, Media, Affiliate, Publicity, Special Ops, Programming and Research; Assuring overall fluidity of work flow throughout the Marketing Department
• Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for all assigned shows
• Develop materials for all shows, including but not limited to Marketing Strategies, Rollout Plans, Internal Marketing Decks, Decks for Producers, Status Reports, Marketable Moments, Marketing Highlights, Awareness Notes, etc
• Lead execution for special projects in support of shows
Requirements
• Bachelors’ degree at least two years’ experience in marketing or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Power Point (critical), Excel, Word, Outlook
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and excellent follow-through skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to respectfully interact with executives from various departments and divisions
• Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, able to take initiative and work independently
• Confident and capable presenter, comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people and leading teams
• Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and television
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a challenging environment with multiple deadlines
• Background in Marketing Strategy and Entertainment Industry experience preferred
