The Account Strategist is the operational point of contact for Condé Nast’s key advertising business relationships with our agency holding companies. Specifically, responsible for providing strategic oversight ensuring optimal deal construct, client satisfaction as well as the development and growth of the revenue relationships.
Responsibilities will include:
• Communicate and Educate industry/brand sales operations on holding co, terms and agreements and act as the main point of contact for ongoing and ad hoc. questions from sales ops related to Holding Co. deal parameters
• Collaborate with Enterprise Sales and Marketing to develop and build plans & packages
• Act as main point of contact alongside agency leads for principal deal RFPs
• Liaise between Media Strategy, Sales, Business Affairs and Sales Operations to ensure consistent and open communication between the teams
• Review deal proposals for compliance with company policy as it relates to our agency contracts, terms and conditions, deal construct and packaging best practices
• Work closely with Agency Leads on uncovering net new revenue opportunities within Holding Cos.
• Prepare and assist in generating financial reports that demonstrate financial performance and tracking to contract levels
• Analyze spend reports and communicate insights to Sales Leads on a regular and as needed basis
• Review plans for adherence of established business rules
• Collaborate with the Inventory, Revenue and Ad Operations teams to escalate issues and aid in troubleshooting
Desired Skills and Qualifications
• 3-5 Years Experience in strategy or planning at an agency or in a revenue analyst role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Excellent personal time-management and project planning skills
• Initiative to identify and solve problems independently
• Ability to prioritize assigned tasks for completion within required time frame
• Demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally
• Proven ability to operate strategically as the situation demands; results oriented
• Strong attention to detail, good follow-up and able to generate creative solutions to meet client needs
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in the digital media or advertising industry
• Familiarity with basic financial concepts a plus
