Account Manager, imre Health
General Summary
imre Health is one of the fastest growing and most exciting agencies working in healthcare marketing today, and we’re looking to add an Account Manager to our team of experts.
Reporting to one of our Account Directors, the Account Manager we’re looking for is an experienced brand strategist and client relationship owner who can blend creative and analytical thinking to harness and lead the agency to deliver innovative work that helps our clients achieve their business objectives.
A successful Account Manager serves as a trusted counsel to our clients and possesses a profound understanding of their audiences, industry and brand. This individual has a high level of professional knowledge and skill in leveraging insights to build and manage social media/digital marketing communications campaigns in the highly regulated health care space.
A successful Account Manager is dynamic, collaborative and agile and shows expertise in managing a cross-functional team through multiple projects with a high degree of confidence, independence and sound judgment. The ideal candidate must be savvy in digital and social media strategies, tactics and evaluation techniques. Attention to detail, exceptional written and oral communications skills, strong project management expertise, and the ability to think critically to formulate (and execute) sound strategies that are rooted in client objectives and audience demand are a must.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
• Leads the development of overall client strategic plans and goals in conjunction with strategy teams.
• Manages account teams assigned to specific clients.
• Serves as the primary contact and liaison between the agency, assigned client and third-party partners in all matters.
• Provides leadership and serves as a role model for team members, providing clear direction, inspiring action, creating growth opportunities and fostering a culture of collaboration across team functions.
• Supervises and provides overall leadership and direction in recommending short-term and long-range goals and objectives for assigned clients.
• Responsible for the fiscal management of assigned client budget. Accountable for the development, management and evaluation of operating budget, and for achieving objectives while operating within budgeted expense targets.
• Ensures that the client and agency comply with all FDA regulations, copyright laws, confidentiality issues and ethical standards within the profession.
• Responsible for keeping agency leadership informed on the status of accounts, including challenges, opportunities, staffing needs, plans and meetings.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
• Exceptional oral and written communications skills, knowledge of marketing techniques and typical agency procedures in order to coordinate effective campaigns and programs
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external audiences, to propose marketing and communications goals and objectives and to build relationships with clients and stakeholders within clients’ organizations
• Analytical thinking, problem solving and conceptual skills to recommend approaches and methods; to plan, coordinate, and evaluate communications activities; and to prepare reports and analyses
• Team leader who encourages collaboration and ideation among team members as well as an aggressive and fearless marketer, that is willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to deliver the highest quality work on behalf of their clients
• Fluency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint presentation development and Excel, are required
• Agency experience is preferred; pharmaceutical marketing experience is optimal
• 7-8 years of experience
