imre is seeking a Junior User Experience Researcher who is entrepreneurial, experimental and collaborative to join our growing experience team. As a UX researcher at imre, you will work on all aspects of the design process. Moving from insights to ideas, the UX researcher is able to creatively solve complex problems, weaving design and business thinking together to deliver inventive, durable and thoughtful, solutions from concept to launch. If you know the importance of putting yourself in the shoes of a user and thrive at developing both strategic concepts and tactical details then this is a great role for you.
As the ideal candidate, you:
• Consider “googling” a professional skill/art
• Love the question “Why?” – You understand how to ask the right questions to get data that uncovers critical insights
• Can select research/test methods that achieve the most insightful results within the realities of budget and time constraints
• Have the ability to develop in-person interview scripts but are simultaneously prepared to go completely off-script during a user interview
What You’ll Do:
• Plan and execute studies to learn user preferences, attitudes, behaviors, and feedback in collaboration with internal and external customers.
• Write reports including findings and recommendations that drive user discovery and future design improvements.
• Participate in strategic discovery and decisions about design and technology platforms.
• Apply conceptual thinking to create desirable and feasible solutions across multiple platforms, smartly bringing together user needs, business goals and technical realities.
• Create and present UX deliverables/strategy internally and externally using Google Slides
• Design and facilitate workshops for both clients and team members to identify overarching business, project and content goals
• Provide UX consults to both creative and account team members at various project and content production stages.
• Take initiative and run with projects while being an active team player who understands that efficiency and excellence are driven by camaraderie, inclusion, and collaboration
• Assist the creative department in applicable production tasks
• Help drive the growth and culture of a growing user experience team
Requirements:
• 1-3 years or relevant experience as a UX Researcher, Analyst, or similar role in a professional environment.
• Ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of qualitative data to surface meaningful information.
• Detail-oriented, able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced and highly interactive environment.
• Experience presenting research findings to peers and senior leadership in a group setting.
• Experience planning and leading collaborative, cross-functional brainstorming and workshopping sessions
• Passion for user experience and storytelling
Bonus points for:
• Public speaking or teaching experience
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Sketch
Working Conditions:
