Fox Digital Consumer Group (DCG) is a strategic business unit within Fox Networks Group (FNG). The group’s focus is the development of TV and long-form, video-centric products that bring Fox’s content to more consumers. This includes the continued innovation of Fox’s existing TV Everywhere products, including FXNOW, FOX NOW, Nat Geo TV and Fox Sports Go, as well as the creation of brand-new consumer propositions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox Digital Consumer Group is looking for a tenured Optimization Associate Director, ideally with experience across both mobile and web platforms to join our digital customer growth team. This role will work across the entire consumer life-cycle and support conversion optimization across all in-experience and in-product journeys.
Responsibilities
• Own and be the resident marketing expert, leveraging testing tools for A/B test page updates to support our always on testing culture.
• Lead technology investment decisions with significant performance target on activities, while balancing delivery of strategic planning with tactical execution.
• Work in partnership with required peers to design insightful tests (e.g. test length, KPIs, AB test vs. MTV etc.). Develop test matrices and rolling calendars for relevant testing, using statistically valid principles. Clearly communicate testing plan and key results to a spectrum of audiences.
• Perform hands-on, end-to-end development and QA of all marketing tests that need to be developed within our testing platforms.
• Champion the investment in and build out of testing & personalization capabilities as it relates to marketing optimization strategies. Partner and influence cross functional groups to deploy optimization requirements for marketing.
• Provide thought leadership in how we evolve our optimization & marketing personalization capabilities.
• Pull together required support structure (internal & external) to help achieve optimization goals for marketing.
Experience
• 7+ years of digital marketing experience in a consumer ecommerce, finance or retail business.
• 5+ years of hands on experience in optimization of customer conversion levers e.g. landing page content, creatives and other contributors towards minimizing abandoned transactions.
• Ability to manage agency relationships or build a team around business needs.
• Track record of achieving statistically significant lift via conversion rate optimization in high growth, consumer facing platforms.
• Well versed in testing methodologies and hands on knowledge of tools, such as Adobe Target and Optimizely.
• Strong technical acumen, knowing how to size projects between quick front end vs heavy back end, communicates well with product owners & technical teams.
• Extremely strong analytics experience, with knowledge of what data to look for and articulate both the rationale for data creation as well as the insights that result from the data.
• Basic experience coding with HTML, CSS3, and some jQuery / JavaScript is a plus.
• Proven experience in presenting and reporting on key metrics and judgement to use the appropriate data visualization to represent performance results or insights to inform plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
