Plan, strategize and execute publicity campaigns across a variety of music genres. We are looking for a proactive individual with traditional media experience and established industry relationships.
Responsibilities
• Plan, strategize and execute publicity campaigns across a variety of music genres
• Execute all phases of strategy for campaigns while balancing an artist roster; engage in regular status calls/meetings to ensure all campaign steps and goals are moving forward
• Spearhead planning and execution of press/promo days and events
• Deliver comprehensive weekly reporting for active campaigns, inclusive of all media clips to date, confirmations, pending discussions and feedback, passed coverage, quantitative data and analysis
• Work collaboratively with all departments within RED MUSIC involved in the marketing and roll out of a project
• Help maintain and foster new relationships across all mediums including TV, print, online, radio syndicates, events, brands, and non-traditional space
• Serve as an in-house publicist for all press related to RED MUSIC
Qualifications
• Music industry publicity experience (1-2 years)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PR Newswire, Cision, Filemaker, Google Drive, Social Media
• Highly motivated, positive, creative, energetic, ambitious and driven
• Self-starter, flexible, and is comfortable multi-tasking and working with many departments
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong writing skills (ability to provide examples of work)
• Established media relationships
