Brand Manager, HE Marketing
Summary of Position:
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Brand Manager to handle all aspects of Home Entertainment marketing (Packaged Media and Digital).
Summary of Position:
• Assist in the development and execution of new DVD and Digital releases including, marketing plans/strategies, budgets, packaging, flyers, consumer print ads, online banners, promotional mailings, premiums, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
• Manage product life cycle process involved in bringing new DVD and Digital releases from concept to delivery (i.e., creative requests, print requests, item set-ups, initial margin analysis, etc)
• Serve as key liaison with outside partners and grantors, managing the day-to-day communication, reporting on sales activity in weekly meetings, and assiting in the creation and presentation of semi-annual business reviews
• Spearhead the on-boarding of acquisition titles and libraries and serve as hub among business affairs, servicing/production, sales and creative to optimize communication and facilitate sales efforts
• Lead in creating consumer and trade marketing materials, presentation decks, and Industry/category analyses. Research films, talent, etc to assist in development of marketing and sales materials. Responsible for tracking the creative development and execution
• Partner with sales and retail marketing to provide the tools required for making presentations to retail customers.
• Work with Operations to ensure timely delivery of materials (art assets, copy of film, BOM, etc.)
• Drive development and execution of all third-party promotional partnerships
• Additional duties and projects as assigned
Experience & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar discipline preferred; 3-5 years of marketing experience required; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in the entertainment, theatrical, home entertainment or videogame industries is a plus
• Agency and/or Retail experience is a plus; direct experience in DVD brand marketing is a plus
• 2-4 years of direct project management experience required
• Experience in building brands/brand management highly preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency required, computer savvy with regard to e-mail and internet capabilities
• Excellent organization, time and project management skills; must have experience working within a fast-paced, high-volume environment and managing multiple projects and tasks to deadline
• Superior presentation skills and the ability to manage different types of clients/relationships/executives
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well within a team environment; strong attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and leadership skills
