We are seeking a Creative Resource Manager to join our New York City creative team.
The responsibilities for this role include:
• Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects.
• Main point of contact for resource booking against Creative work requests.
• Review, prioritize, and communicate daily/weekly project requests and partner with Creative leads to assign appropriate resources based on project scopes and to evaluate best team makeup for assigned projects.
• Ensures the pool of resources are fully utilized and that conflicts of priority across projects are resolved/escalated.
• Monitor and manage multiple project work-flows with respect to resources and schedules and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs or requirements.
• Follow up with team members and project stakeholders regarding project status.
• Ensure project request documentation is complete, current, and accessible to team members.
• Alert Creative Leads of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing.
• Manage trade-offs effectively among schedule, scope, and budget on projects with respect to available resources.
• Identify needs for freelance with as much advanced notice as possible.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Good understanding of how interactive, print, and broadcast pieces get concepted, designed, and produced.
• Leadership qualities and strong negotiation skills, with an adaptable personality and communication style and the ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary in order to obtain results.
• Ability to manage trade-offs effectively among schedule, scope, and budget on projects with respect to available resources.
• Able to help gauge resource skill levels and identify gaps and strengths of individual group members.
• Working under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment while managing multiple streams and maintaining attention to detail and reliable follow through.
• Self-directed, goal oriented, results driven personality with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
Requirements
• Four year degree required
• 4-5 years resource management/recruitment experience in advertising/marketing required
