Health eCareers is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to strategize and develop email campaigns aimed at establishing Health eCareers as the leading career resource for health care professionals. This role is an integral part of our marketing team and will help shape our email marketing program through iterative testing, application of channel best practices, and creative innovation. Their analytical mindset will glean insights from campaign and channel performance trends, and their creativity will translate these insights into actionable tactics. He or she will work closely with partners in Marketing, Product, Partners, Sales, and Technology to establish Health eCareers Email Marketing as a best-in-class program.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop high impact email campaigns and programs, partnering with business leads to support overarching business objectives.
• Own the email campaign development process from creation through deployment (e.g. creative development, scheduling, QA, etc).
• Own all aspects of email campaign performance, from measurement of email KPIs and trends to assessing the broader business impact. Provide daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reporting of results and insights to key business partners.
• Drive the establishment and iterative testing of email best practices to elevate the channel as well as foster a test and learn culture.
• Serve as an internal SME championing email marketing best practices and channel ambassador to the rest of the business.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required. Health care experience a plus but not required.
• Minimum 5 years B2C Email Marketing experience in either Agency or Client side role.
• Direct response marketing experience is critical in this role.
• Experience forecasting email campaign results based on multiple variables.
• Mastery of an enterprise-level ESP like SailThru, Responsys, etc
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues of all levels.
• Comfortable with interpreting data and research results.
• Flexible and nimble to think around tough business problems.
• Must be able to think strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution.
• Organized and efficient with the ability to respond well under tight timelines and pressure.
