Job Description:
Dow Jones is looking for a Programmatic Sales Specialist who can multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, leading their team into success in programmatic selling. The candidate must have extensive media buyer/planner contacts at key US agencies and trading desks, and must be able to demonstrate a proven sales history, understand programmatic advertising. The candidate will also have experience and knowledge of the Programmatic market and Dow Jones set-up and product suite.
Responsibilities:
• Assist and lead sales team in their vertical in selling DJ’s programmatic products.
• Sell DJ’s programmatic product suite to agency trading desks and any buyers in their vertical that do not fall under a salesperson on their team.
• Coordinate with AdOps and Account Management to oversee proper execution of campaigns and insure alignment with customer objectives
• Develop and manage relationships with all major regional trading desks, DSPs, client direct and other programmatic buyers
• Help to build sales strategy
• Understand technical flow between Agency, ATD, DSP, Exchange, Supply and the nuances of running Open Market campaigns, PMPs, and Deal IDs within RTB
• Drive new revenue generation via lead qualification and prospecting
• Forecast and delivering revenue growth across an agency group, including negotiating trading deals and delivering on those forecasts
• Travel to agencies and clients throughout territory
Qualifications:
• Experience in either Digital/Programmatic in Media, who works with agency, brands, DSPs, or ATDs
• Strong understanding of Programmatic buying, online advertising, and the digital media-buying ecosystem
• Must have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated initiative
• Strong understanding of the digital media market and trends
• Must be a self-starter, articulate and possess excellent presentation, phone, and written communication skills
• Strong leaderships skills, prior management experience preferred; able to build a sales team to cover the US from scratch
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience using a CRM, preferably Hubspot
• Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills
• Ability to build interdepartmental relationships
• BA degree preferred
