The Quality Intern will be responsible for making the gaming division of SG a structured process business, writing procedures, creating job aids, templates, tools, and cultivating stakeholder(s) relationships in a high energy work environment with creative professionals. The intern in this position needs to be able to work with many different kinds of people and be able to adapt to a lot of different situations.
Position Requirements
Intern will learn to be exposed to:
• Real world knowledge of working with internal customers and managing projects
• Hands on in identifying procedural requirements by stakeholder
• Hands on strategizing and planning projects
• Participation in regular staff meetings
Essential Job Functions:
• High quality professional day-to-day execution of tasks and special projects
• Perform analytical reviews and conduct research on a variety of processes across multiple departments/divisions
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Drives quality improvement efforts internally and externally and communicates benefits realized to upper management.
• Support customer development projects to enhance the entire supply chain capabilities in both processes and systemic quality improvements.
• Participate in Continuous Process Improvement and lean initiatives

Qualifications:
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent written and verbal communications
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience conducting research
• Very task-oriented
• Self-starter
• Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate
• Practical knowledge of Six Sigma principles. Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus
• Strong tactical planning and execution, effective time management and organizational skills. Project management skills are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively deliver information to upper management levels

Education:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's [preferably BSEE or BSME] in Technical writing, Business and/or Information Systems from an accredited college/university
• Master’s degree a plus
