HR (People) Business Partner, Editorial & Content Creation
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) role will support the Editorial and Content Creation teams as they continue to evolve and grow our iconic brands. The role will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees, acting as a change agent and providing overall HR support. The HRBP will have frontline access to leaders and their teams to guide, partner and support them with a scope of work that includes but is not limited to employee relations, talent strategy, performance management, career pathing, internal mobility and change management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability aligning business objectives to workforce strategies and be willing and able to roll up their sleeves and “problem-solve” anything that comes their way.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build effective and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients at all levels of the organization.
• Partner with business leaders to define and implement an HR strategy that aligns with company goals.
• Oversee effective performance management across the team; continually act as performance improvement driver; provoking positive changes in performance and people management.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and hire the best talent into the organization.
• Facilitate the resolution of all employee relations issues including those with complex, multi-step solutions, investigations, etc.
• Proactively identify Talent Management and Learning and Development gaps; partner with Talent Management team to propose and implement changes and solutions.
• Collaborate with client team to foster internal cohesion and a shared corporate culture.
• Be a key influencer of both people and business decisions.
• Review and analyze data for reporting purposes, to identify trends and to recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and engagement.
DESIRED SKILLS\EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7-10 years of progressive experience and exposure to a variety of HR facets including employee relations, organizational development and talent acquisition
• Prowess in integrating the HR value proposition with business priorities and developing strategies to meet the company’s needs and goals
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with entry level through executive level individuals successfully
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Integrity, assertiveness and the ability to build trust easily
• Ability to manage confidential information
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong understanding translating the priorities of the business and integrating the HR value proposition and strategies to meet the business needs
• Ability to influence and manage change and deal effectively with change management initiatives
