Billing Design Analyst - CSG
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for review and designing product launches based off department requirements. Will include technical support of the launch, while assisting in developing of any custom programs and solutions. Assure projects are built to specified designs while supporting our internal customers (Customer Care, Marketing, and Billing Operations). Perform testing of the solution, configuration documentation, developer requirements (if required), and provide mentoring to current team members.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Develops software requirements
Develops and documents user methods and procedures
Analyze systems for ongoing performance improvements at user and system levels
Provide support for complex issues, mass adjustments, reporting, interfaces, security, environments, outage and trouble ticketing
Respond to requests made via Change Request Management, Issue Management and On-site support
May support processing of lockbox tapes; work with Billing Representatives on keying-in backlog and process measurement
Support MECC and Gateway.
Consistent high team performer, while mentoring and setting a solid team example.
Extended knowledge base of the biller ranging, but not including taxation, cards, provisioning, payments, other department processes, etc.
Be able to support reporting and query needs.
Perform other duties a requested by supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of industry requirements used to support end user cable, data, and telephony billing
Ability to work extended hours.
Knowledge of systems used by Cable and/or Telecommunications industries to support billing, customer services, and accounting activities
Proficient in Microsoft desktop products including Access, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project
Ability to work independently
ICOMS/CSG knowledge
Education
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Related Work Experience Number of Years
Billing system code configurations (including prerequisites) 2-3
Billing system experience related to campaigns, rates, packages, and taxes 2-3
Database reporting tools, queries, SQL, macros 2-3
ICOMS/CSG experience preferred 2+
