Job Summary:
The primary focus of this role is to manage the overall accounting for selected international subsidiaries. This includes ensuring completeness and accuracy in all accounting records and related supporting workflows and feeder systems that result in proper local regulatory compliance and consistency with Comcast Corporate policies. Maintain relationships with key affiliates and partners and vendors, including NBCU, outside auditors, banks, and legal firms.

Core Responsibilities:
• Close the books; manage all related statutory, tax, and other agency compliance matters, managing liaison with CTS Finance and the National Accounting Office Team.
• Manage Staff
• Administration on all CTS subsidiary compliance matters (TPA, banking, statutory, legal, employment, insurance, etc.).
• Transfer Pricing Accounting Manage all invoicing, settlements, accounting, and reconciliations for CTS subsidiaries and related activities.
• Coordinate related activities with TPA affiliates to ensure consistency and timely closure on all payables and receivables in accordance with appropriate TPA agreements.
• Main interface with CHQ functional groups (keeping all appropriate leaders informed and engaged).
• Bank account administration; assure cash balances are maintained per policy and bank to book reconciliations are completed. Process international vendor payments.
• Ensure Board of Directors resolutions and legal matters are provided in support of statutory requirements.
• Prepare general ledger activity for month end and year end accounting closes; month end financial statement review and presentation (to CTS manager) for approval.
• Provide trending and variance analysis as needed to support CTS Finance budget and forecasting wrokflows.
• Provide monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Manages, plans, organizes, and coordinates activities of Accounting staff.
• Ensures accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial data in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals.
• Monitors and develops procedures to accommodate operational and policy changes.
• Manages and oversees ongoing internal audit inquiries and external audit processes.
• Ensures adherence to corporate policies regarding internal controls.
• Reviews monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by Accountants and/or Supervisors and instructs Accountants to make necessary changes and advises on adjusting entries as needed.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Job Specification:
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
• Accounting
• Generally requires 6-9 years related experience
