Associate Director, Human Resources – Grey NY
Your role:As an Associate Director, Human Resources, you will be responsible for all Talent/HR related aspects for a number of client groups at one of the world's top advertising and marketing organizations. The position will report directly to the SVP Director, Human Resources and work closely with the generalist team members who support other business units within Grey.
What you will do as an Associate Director, Human Resources:
• Provide strategic Talent/HR leadership for client groups
• Act as trusted advisor for senior leaders to implement effective Talent strategies while handling day-to-day employee inquiries and issues with the utmost discretion and fairness
• Support cross-company Talent processes such as quarterly role out of Grey’s performance development program, annual salary review, annual bonus allocation for client groups, etc.
• Work with Coordinators to ensure employee onboarding needs are met, employee life cycle changes are updated in ADP and employee files are up to date, etc.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Benefits/Immigration, payroll, etc. in support of the client groups
• Lead ad hoc projects as needed

• Strong functional skills in employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compensation, work process improvement and training & development
• The ability to independently manage the day to day needs of their client base and solid understanding of when to seek additional support
• The ability to establish trusted partner relationships and to work collaboratively
• The confidence and ability to appropriately challenge and influence stakeholders
• The ability to flex and thrive in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience in large size organizations, ideally in the advertising/ marketing industry

Qualifications
Requirements:
• BA required; HR related advanced degree and/or other HR certifications a plus (SHRM, PHR, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of NY and CA employment law
