CAA ICON is looking for an exceptional recruiter and sourcer to join our team. The role will be responsible for providing full life-cycle recruiting in partnership with hiring managers, HR and senior management for open positions within CAA ICON as well as helping build and manage a strong talent pipeline. The ideal candidate wants to learn our niche business from the inside out, loves building relationships with business leaders and is excited by the ability to have a true impact on the future of the organization. This role has potential to develop new programs and processes that are not only recruiting-specific but also talent-focused, such as helping create an emerging talent program.
Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Partners with hiring managers/HR to identify required duties and responsibilities, knowledge, hard and soft skills and abilities for open jobs as well as level and compensation.
• Assists hiring managers in creating job descriptions that identify the duties and responsibilities, education, experience, and knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully complete the job.
• Partners with hiring manager, providing consultative and advisory recruiting strategy including market trends, candidate assessments, candidate challenges, timelines, and interview schedules/conflicts.
• Performs all administrative tasks associated with job postings, from approvals to postings through hire.
• Creates job requisitions in Workday and manages candidate trafficking according to CAA standard procedures.
• Continuously networks with internal and external sources to identify potential candidates.
• Reviews/analyzes resumes and applications, interviews, identifies top candidates, schedules candidates for interviews with hiring managers, assist hiring managers in selecting candidates for hire, conducts reference and background checks.
• Consults/advises hiring manager(s), HR and candidates regularly on the status of the open position.
• Develops relationships with colleges and industry groups with relevant programs to target emerging and future talent.
• Focuses on a sourcing strategy that supports our diversity initiatives while building a talent pipeline.
• Strategize ways to recruit candidates through social media websites, attending events, and other innovative campaigns.
• Travels and participates in college recruitment, job fairs, and other recruiting initiatives.
• Works on intern strategy and programming and helps further develop this program.
• Taps into internal CAA talent pool to find potential transfers between lines of business.
• Provides simple metrics to the business on the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
• Acts as liaison with employment and recruiting agencies, advertising agencies (job boards) and other external organizations providing staffing related support.
Requirements:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a customer service focus.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with hiring managers.
• Demonstrated skills in managing complex client and candidate relationships.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking system --- preferably Workday.
• Ability to interact with all levels in the organization.
• Ability to adapt to changing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with employment policies and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices required.
• Strong interviewing skill techniques with a thorough knowledge of position functions.
• Minimum of 3 years recruiting or similar relevant work experience.
Job Location and Hours:
• This is a full-time, exempt position based in the Denver Tech Center.
• Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• This position may require travel on occasion.
