JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leading strategic development in support of Charter’s wireless product portfolio, which includes Cellular and Non-Cellular network technologies. Applies expert knowledge on wireless transport technologies required to enable fixed wireless access and private LTE network products. Knowledge of industry and consumer broadband market to define and deliver a multi-year roadmap for Charter’s wireless Spectrum options and product portfolio. This person who fills this role will work independently, lead cross-functional teams as well as manage direct reports as required.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading product development, a deep knowledge of the wireless industry, and a vision for how Charter can leverage wireless solutions to extend our consumer and business product portfolio. Candidate will also have deep understanding of WiFI, NR-U, 4G LTE, 5G LTE and other relevant wireless technologies.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads wireless product strategy development, identifying and developing opportunities for both consumer and business customers. Responsible for understanding competitive products and trends in the industry, incorporating those into the product roadmap, and ensuring competitiveness of future Charter products.
Plans sequencing and resources, including internal partners, and existing Charter assets necessary to support a wireless product deployment.
Maintains a strong technical knowledge of wireless technologies and ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering groups. Ensure alignment between the business operational strategies and technical solutions.
Leads the Product organization’s understanding of LPWAN technologies and IoT use cases. Supports Enterprise Product development on wireless solutions.
Supports financial modeling, business case development and manages capital budgets of related product development initiatives.
Develops effective partnerships between the Product team and the other supporting functional organizations (Engineering, Software Development, IT, Operations, 3rd Party suppliers, etc.) to properly structure the product requirements.

Deep understanding of competitive products and consumer trends
Strong background and experience in wireless technologies – WiFi, fixed and mobile technologies
Understanding of spatial analytics and Geographic Information Systems
Ability to manage and foster change
Ability to build and lead large, cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results
Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks

Ability to analyze and interpret data and synthesize recommendations

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or related field
Master’s degree in an applicable field preferred
