Delivering on the author experience
Springer Nature is recruiting within the newly refocused and highly-visible Author Experience & Services team. Our ideal candidate will engineer and promote our best-in-class researcher services across the spectrum of renowned Springer Nature brands. S/he will analyze authors’ interaction with our services and gather data on customer behavior to deliver engagement programs to improve the author experience and overseeing specific initiatives to support author loyalty. S/he will increase author satisfaction, acquisitions, usage of author services and raise general awareness among key target audiences. While the majority of the role is market-facing, internal promotion, on-boarding, connecting and collaborating are equally important.

Success in this role means:
• Strengthening the team’s track record of using a market- and data-driven approach to piloting, building, improving and communicating researcher services.
• Analyzing customer data to inform brand loyalty and engagement strategy.
• Elevating Springer Nature’s author/editor/peer reviewers in collaboration with essential support teams.
• Working with business leads on marketing, promotion, benchmarking and industry-wide reporting.
• Offering insight to the customer journey and develop a pipeline of services.
• Analysis, reporting and communication of marketing efforts.
• Managing internal and external communication outlets, such as blogs, social media, news, etc.
Experience, skills and qualifications:
• Educated to degree level (at least Bachelor Degree)
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills with the ability to influence and steward projects effectively
• Comprehensive understanding of the publishing landscape, brand loyalty and customer engagement
• Expertise in all aspects of digital marketing
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to quickly understand different workflows, systems and their dependencies and interaction
• Willingness to travel as needed
