Taylor Communications is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work in our Newtown Square, PA office supporting our customers in a business-to-business model. This position is responsible for ensuring best of class service through positive customer contacts including technology communications and phone to ensure customer inquiries are appropriately determined in a timely manner utilizing your strengths in problem solving and resolution.
Shift Available
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (EST) with some flexibility
Responsibilities Include:
• Develops strong customer relationships with assigned account(s).
• Builds and maintains trust with customer by fulfilling commitments around quality & SLA agreements, handling customer concerns or complaints and coordinates with appropriate manufacturing facilities or 3rd party suppliers to facilitate solutions on a timely basis.
• Acquires proficiency in Company ERP (BAAN and BSG) ordering system software.
• Clarify customer’s questions, inquires, or concerns and communicate with appropriate business partners for resolution as needed with sound problem solving skills.
• Enter or expedite customer orders in applicable software systems.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, operating procedures, or other job specific written documents into appropriate customer requirements and execute properly.
• Must have exceptional ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and/or customers through written and verbal forums.
• Strong time management, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently for results and customer satisfaction.
• Basic PC skills including ability to navigate in a MS Windows environment and proficiency in software applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Minimum of two years of related / relevant customer experience specialization.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Print experience with a detailed understanding of manufacturing specifications.
• Ability to utilize past experience and good judgement to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form to meet customer objectives.
• Respond appropriately and professionally in stressful and/or difficult situations with unsatisfied customers in business to business model.
