PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESULT AREAS
• Develop a strong brand, product and marketing campaign strategy for prospective association members, attendees and sponsors/exhibitors in conjunction with other team departments including production and sales
• Implement and execute a marketing strategy and timeline for each brand
• Utilize the internal database to pull key relevant lists for email and telemarketing campaigns
• Design and create event literature including adverts, brochures, HTML emails and flyers
• Create and manage promotional email campaigns surrounding each event
• Provide regular reports of campaign effectiveness and recommendations for future improvements along with weekly reports on attendee revenue and numbers
• Develop and manage data building strategy
• Identify and create strategy to build event partnerships in key relevant markets, manage agreements and ensure deliverables are completed, monitored and analyzed
• Work with the sales team to create an effective sales marketing campaign to increaseexposure to relevant buyers
• Work with speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and other stakeholders to raise the event profile
• Research and attend relevant industry ‘meetups’ to increase event exposure
• Create and update the marketing budget for each brand, ensuring that all costs are managed and kept within budget, supply accurate forecasts
• Produce high quality copy and content for use on websites, emails, blogs, etc…
• Work with internal web development team to create, manage and ensure all websites are up-to-date, as well monitoring traffic and other analytics via Google Analytics
• Manage social networking channels ensuring regular and quality content is produced and audience engagement increases
• Work closely with the attendee sales manager to ensure effective telemarketing campaign is conducted for each event
• Work with the Customer Services Team to ensure booking process for each event is streamlined
• Manage coordination of external suppliers for print and design
• Management of any temporary staff where relevant
• Attend competitor and other events run by Informa where necessary (some travel required)

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 12 months experience working in a marketing role (events, publishing or training background preferred, but not essential)
• Degree in marketing, communications or another closely related subject preferred, but not essential
• Experience in utilizing a range of systems including databases, CRM, website platforms, etc…
• Good multi-tasking and organizational skills a must, as multiple projects will be under way at any one time
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels including email, social, SEO, PPC
• Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to generate new ideas and processes to improve marketing campaign efficacy and ROI
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent team working skills
