Condé Nast Entertainment is seeking a strategic, results-oriented, collaborative, and tech-savvy Product Manager to create and deliver new video and advertising digital products. This person will partner closely with programming, advertising, engineering, and design to develop, maintain, and execute the digital strategy and product roadmap for CNE.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Participate in defining and executing the video product strategy for CNE
• Translate user needs and business objectives into intuitive and compelling products
• Build strong relationships with the video programming, brand editorial, and engineering teams to assess the viability of new products and ideas
• Direct and influence a cross-functional team comprised of design, business, engineering, marketing, and research leaders to refine existing products
• Regularly use consumer feedback, site metrics, market research, and competitive analyses to create compelling arguments for what we should do and why
• Gather content, business, and technical requirements while managing scope, timelines, and execution for large projects and ongoing site maintenance
• Closely follow emerging technologies and industry trends
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
• 2-5 years managing digital products, preferably for a major media company
• Successful record defining and launching video (or other media) mobile products
• Highly technical with an ability to interface with both tech and design, specifically around video products
• Experience working closely and collaboratively with content, advertising, engineering, and design teams
• Strong sense of product management best practices
• Excellent quantitative skills with expertise in Excel and/or SQL
• Comfortable with both traditional and agile development methodologies
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and highly responsible
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital video
• Must be a proven relationship builder with strong verbal and written abilities who can diplomatically and effectively work across departments as well as with external partners
