The Manager, Programmatic will lead the programmatic advertising operations team to oversee the day-to-day set up and delivery of programmatic advertising sales including private marketplace, automated guaranteed, RTB, and audience extension programs. The Manager will own and execute the partner platforms utilized for programmatic sales operations and act as ops point of contact for programmatic sales and product teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of programmatic sales business at Condé Nast (delivery across O&O and distribution platforms)
• Support brand and corporate sales teams in setup, execution and troubleshooting of programmatic campaigns
• Setup of private marketplace deals (deal IDs) via Conde Nast’s supply-side platforms
• Operations and delivery of automated guaranteed campaigns, including pre-, mid- and post-flight
• Design and implement processes, systems and best practices for ad operations, inventory & yield, sales, and account management
• Execute updates to price floors and targeting for Conde Nast’s RTB exchange marketplace
• Responsible for integrations between programmatic platforms/sales, order management, and ad serving systems
• Coordinate with revenue and inventory management teams on reporting initiatives
• Coordinate operational changes that impact sales efforts
• Stay up to date on the evolving programmatic marketplace and make recommendations to increase yield and streamline process
• Manage, mentor and train programmatic ad operations team on best practices and latest innovations
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Recommended 3-4 years of experience in digital ad operations and programmatic
• Passion for programmatic marketplace and ecosystem
• Expert-level knowledge of DFP ad serving and Google AdX
• At least 1 year of experience working with DSPs, SSPs and other publisher-side programmatic platforms
• Ability to balance workloads from multiple stakeholders including sales, ad operations, and revenue operations teams
within Conde Nast digital organization

• Customer support mindset (collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver on ad sales). Best in class customer services in handling constantly shifting priorities to maximize operational effectiveness of ad revenues and tight deadlines
