Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, the Director of Treasury Operations is responsible for the tactical implementation of the organization’s treasury management program. Responsibilities include managing and monitoring the company’s daily and short-term cash position, short term cash forecasting, lockboxes and the company’s merchant credit card accounts/vendor relationships. This individual will also manage key global cash management banking relationships, ensuring the company is receiving a robust product offering, the provision of excellent customer service, and a competitive fee structure.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the user management and system administration of treasury management system (Kyriba, online bank systems.) Manage relationships with cash management banks and software providers.
• Manage all cash management activities, produce accurate short term cash forecast and work with corporate finance to ensure sufficient liquidity
• Manage the company’s merchant processing and lockbox operations and the vendor relationship.
• Consult with and assist unit controllers/Shared Service Centers on cash management issues and act as an advisor to provide solutions to their business needs
• Manage bank administration, maintaining all bank accounts, bank services and authorized signers.
• Develop and maintain Treasury procedures and conducted internal best practice audits of Treasury processes. Responsible for managing internal and external auditors to support SOX compliance.
• Perform M&A due diligence and manage Treasury integration activities for acquired companies.
• Manage special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field. An advanced degree MBA and a CTP certification is preferred but not required.
• 10 years of experience, including 5-7 years in Corporate Treasury Department and/or a bank’s Treasury Management department.
• Experience in managing all aspects of lockbox services- product effectiveness, pricing, RFP process
• Experience in managing all aspects of merchant service functions- product effectiveness, pricing, RFP process, PCI Compliance
• Supervisory experience required
• In-depth knowledge of Lockbox and merchant services management
• Strong communication skills to facilitate strong relationships with internal business units and with outside banks and investment banks.
• Exceptional analytical skills, excellent problem-solving skills, organizational savvy, high energy, strong initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressured, flexible, hectic environment with dynamic deadlines, while prioritizing workload and managing multiple projects.
