The role.
Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for reviewing, processing and posting of vendor invoices into accounting system and ensuring that proper authorization and supporting documentation has been obtained for internal control purposes.
What the job is:
• Perform reconciliation and maintenance of major vendor accounts
• Enter approved vendor invoices in Captiva/Oracle
• Work with internal personnel to obtain proper approvals and documentation to ensure that invoices are compliant with internal SOX guidelines
• Process Telco invoices through Asentinel telecom invoice tracking system
• Process PO invoices including Goods Receipt as needed
• Process new vendor setup requests in Oracle as needed including obtaining all required documents (W-9 form and initial vendor invoice)
• Process Oracle vendor and invoice upload payment requests as they relate to customer refunds
• Assist with month end accrual.
• Scan invoices related to Intercompany billing.
• Other duties as needed
What a qualified candidate should possess:
• 1-3 years relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel: comfortable with v-lookups and pivot tables.
• Oracle and SAP experience a plus
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
• Self-starter with a positive attitude
• Effective interpersonal and superior customer service skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
