Job Description
Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a Temporary Localization Project Manager for the Creative Services team. This person should be highly motivated and extremely well-organized. They will drive the development of online and print materials including packaging, advertising, collateral, and point-of-sale items, as well as Sales and Retail Marketing materials. They will also being responsible for managing and coordinating the localization and production of packaging and other print materials, working in coordination with teams in Canada, Latam and Brazil to secure input and approvals. They should understand general printing and manufacturing requirements and become familiar with first party guidelines. This person’s primary job is to manage projects from initiation through delivery, including planning schedules, monitoring progress and managing budgets. They will organize cross-functional activities, and ensure the completion of projects within the predetermined budget and schedule. It is the Project Manager’s responsibility to ensure that all deadlines and approvals for deliverables are met, or to communicate delays and potential delays to management.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage flow of projects from initial concept to release for production by setting up project kickoffs, gathering information and assets as required, and obtaining required approvals.
• Partner with Retail Marketing, Brand Management, Creative Services, and other departments as required, to develop packaging and print and online materials, and implement in-store point-of-sale (POS) materials for select AAA and AA franchises.
• Coordinate the development of materials for sales and trade events (i.e., buyer mailings, retail manager shows, Destination PlayStation, etc.).
• Closely monitor and maintain daily status reports of projects and budgets, attend weekly Round Table meetings to update group on project status.
• Execute and coordinate translation of domestic packaging and digital assets from English to Canadian French, Latam Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese
• Partner with offices in Montreal, Sao Paolo, and Mexico City to communicate schedules, translate documents, acquire art files, and secure necessary approvals
• Maintain weekly status reports; Packaging, translations and costs
• Manage translation requests in JIRA system.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Equivalent work experience accepted.
• Minimum 2-4 years in a project management/marketing communications role in an advertising agency, design firm, in-house design department, or related marketing environment.
• Strong, self-confident leader who motivates and builds trust with others both internally and externally.
• Strong and accurate knowledge of production and creative terminology.
• Working knowledge of creative software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Microsoft Project a plus.
