The role:
The Director of Operations manages all facets of the daily operations and strategy for Ticketstoday, Ticketmaster’s festival and artist ticketing platform. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, this position touches all aspects of the business.
What the job is:
• Provide top-level management to the Ticketstoday operations team. Direct reports include:
◦ Dir of Client Services
◦ Project Manager
◦ Customer Service Manager
◦ Marketing Manager
◦ Business Analyst
◦ UI/UX Designer
◦ Settlements Manager
• Manage all phases of budgeting and execution
• Craft business and sales strategies
• Oversee on-site festival operations
• Provide supplemental client support to top accounts
• Provide guidance to technology team on business priorities
• Ensure corporate policies and initiatives are properly implemented
What a qualified candidate should possess:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
• 12+ years experience in ticketing, e-commerce or live events business
• 5+ years managing people, including team building, goal setting and reviews
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
• Experience in budgeting, accounting and business analytics
• Solid oral, written, and listening communication skills;
• Ability to adapt, communicate, and manage change in a fast-paced working environment
