Job Summary:
The Manager, Marketing Solutions will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and compelling sales stories for clients and their agencies in order to increase awareness and build a strong value proposition for out-of-home advertising. This role is a key interface between Marketing, the National Sales Group and Client Solutions Team, collaborating and providing insights into marketing programs that activate key business targets and help build revenue-generating opportunities. In collaboration with the Director, Marketing Solutions the Manager, Marketing Solutions will craft stories for sales and develop a range of delivery mechanisms for effectively telling these stories to media buyers, planners and ultimately, clients.
Responsibilities
• Lead the strategic development of marketing programs that merchandise Clear Channel Outdoor’s tech-driven products and capabilities, for use by sales to grow revenues and achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with the National Sales Group and Client Solutions Team to design marketing campaigns and tools that address the needs of both new business development and help sustain recurring business.
• Engage with the National Sales Group, Client Solutions Team and their support staff to develop impactful and effective marketing resources that are on-brand and shape the national perception of Clear Channel Outdoor and the out-of-home industry.
• In collaboration with Research & Analytics, cultivate marketplace insights that navigate the company to new opportunities while helping to grow revenue share of existing customers.
• Work with Product Marketing to ensure that all new materials & advertising solutions are successfully conceptualized, packaged, launched and supported to create opportunity for the National Sales Group.
• Provide insights into marketplace & customer needs, competitive developments and technological innovations that create opportunity for CCO & our advertising clients.
• Collaborate with a team of coordinators
Job Qualifications:
Education
• BS/BA degree in a related field.
• Graduate degree preferred.
Work Experience
• 5+ years of Marketing experience in a media sales or ad tech organization, with specific focus on strategic solutions directly supporting a sales team.
Skills
• Deep understanding of how advertising media is planned, bought and sold, with a particular emphasis on the unique aspects of the Out-of-Home media sector.
• A passion for media, advertising and technology.
• Able to effectively combine strategy, project management, sales support and creative problem solving to drive results and engage others.
• Experience simultaneously developing & successfully managing multiple complex projects in fast-moving corporate cultures where change is the norm & collaboration is key to success.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex, technology-driven concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Comfort writing and delivering presentations to internal & external audiences, and experience writing & presenting creative briefs, sales materials and marketing plans.
• Willingness to engage to get what’s required at all levels of the organization, with the emotional and professional maturity to recognize when and how to compromise.
• Proficiency in common Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce.com a plus as well as various social media platforms and ad media databases

Other Requirements
• Able to travel outside of the office 25% of the time.
Physical Demands
• Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands, to lift and move items up to 15 pounds, see written documents and computer screens, and to adjust focus.
• This job is performed in a temperature controlled office environment.
