Crunchyroll Games - Business Development Associate

Crunchyroll is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join its Crunchyroll Games division in San Francisco!
Crunchyroll Games is a new division within Crunchyroll specializing in publishing mobile Anime games in the ex-Asia world markets. As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the International Manager of Crunchyroll and Japanese partners to identify, procure, and negotiate game licenses, rights, and publishing opportunities on behalf of Crunchyroll.
You will be a conduit to the Anime game industry and gain familiarity with existing rights holders, developers, and content partners to understand how game opportunities impact Crunchyroll Games’ outlook and future slate success.

About you:
• 6+ years of working experience within the mobile gaming or traditional gaming Industry
• 2+ years of negotiating and solidifying deals, partnerships, and rights procurement
• 2+ years of international business development or game development experience
• Ability to intelligently assess game-specific opportunities within regional markets
• Keen understanding of game landscape in world markets (especially US/CA)
• Fluent in game rights breakdown, fee allocations, and economics
• Strong background in Media and Entertainment
• Bilingual proficiency (Japanese) preferred
• Excellent analytics and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
What to expect on daily basis:
• Work closely with Crunchyroll Games’ Producer and Publishing Manager to develop launch slates, timelines, and balance key title releases
• Display acumen of current gaming trends throughout multiple markets and prepare user reports to key management stakeholders
• Key liaison with all external publishing, development, and game production partners
• Identify, negotiate, and procure game publishing licenses for top-tier Anime games
• Participate in key negotiations and strategic discussions for game titles
