Job Summary
Head Strategy Group and function as a principal strategic advisor to help define and execute the vision and the strategic planning for the Spectrum Enterprise business unit. Work with business unit leaders to evolve the long-term business strategy, consistent with organizational and corporate goals and objectives. Contribute to the ongoing strategic planning process for the business unit, and coordinate business unit participation in the larger corporate strategic planning. Serve as an advisor to senior business unit leaders on strategic issues and business solutions. Drive strategy initiatives and oversee internal team and stakeholder participation. Contribute to the ongoing development of a strategic planning fact-base, including deep understanding of value chain economics, including competitor and other value chain participant activities, strategies, and capabilities, and customer needs and behaviors. Perform strategic analysis around industry, technology, regulatory and competitive trends, and deliver recommendations to senior leaders. Identify future needs within the marketplace and qualify opportunities for new offerings based on fact-based, market-driven insights and analyses. Identify, lead, and negotiate inorganic opportunities, including partnerships and acquisitions, to densify network infrastructure, strengthen product portfolio, and accelerate growth in the rapidly evolving landscape. Education/Qualification
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Economics or related field. Must have 12 years of relevant business experience analyzing industry, technology, and regulatory and competitive trends, and advising senior executive leadership on business solutions; 10 years of management experience leading teams and projects; and 8 years of experience providing strategic advisory services to top-tier telecommunication/cable firms. Must be willing to travel up to 20% (domestic travel 2 to 4 times a month for a few days at a time).
