Job Description
Sr Lead Project Manager
In this role, you will play a critical role as an extended member of the TX SLED account team, managing all aspects of CenturyLink’s growing list of established Texas cooperative contracts. You will be the primary point of contact working with the state and internal teams to satisfy contractual requirements, improve contract adoption rates, and facilitate process improvements. You are detailed, organized, and analytical. You possess visionary leadership qualities and enjoy building long-term relationships. Your history within SLED and/or the telecom industry will establish credibility, giving you a fast track to success in this role.
You will be responsible for:
• Facilitating and attending frequent meetings with customer including Monthly and Quarterly reviews
• Working with internal CenturyLink staff and management, including Sales, Product, Operations, Legal, Offer Management, Billing and IT to coordinate CenturyLink resources to address contractual requirements and optimize customer experience.
• Working with Sales and other internal staff to evaluate product and pricing changes, and manage change process with the customer's governance and policies for contract amendments
• Responsible for managing content of CenturyLink's internal website for this government contract and reviewing customer's website for this contract for accuracy.
Additional responsibilities include oversight of several functional areas:
• Guide and assist sales with RFPs, renewals, and changes for cooperative contracts.
• Negotiate contract terms on cooperative contracts.
• Document and maintain job aids and process improvements.
• Monitoring and reporting for Service Level Agreements, utilization, and Service Management escalation
• Billing accuracy and reconciliation, including usage reporting, billing and service credits.
Preferred location is Austin, TX. Candidate must reside in Texas and be available for meeting with customer in Austin at least on a monthly basis.

• Excellent analytical, contract/project management, and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to include:
◦ Preparing presentations for executives and senior leadership team
◦ Preparing Project status reports and effectively communicating with internal and external customer project stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and major projects simultaneously
• Understanding of internal work groups within CTL to include Sales, Support, Sales Enablement, Pricing, Legal and Offer Management
• Comfortable with presentations to customers using the Microsoft Office Suite, including technical skills to describe pricing options
• Strong written skills and presentation skills using the Microsoft Office Suite to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Ability to represent CenturyLink in a professional and positive manner
Strong team skills, able to take the lead on projects, manage dependencies to meet project timelines and execute requirements on time
