Analytics Intern - 6 months position starting August/September 2018

Midroll Media is the world's largest pure-play podcasting company. We started as beloved comedy podcast network Earwolf; via Midroll, we provide ad sales and distribution services to 300+ shows such as The Bill Simmons Podcast, WTF with Marc Maron, StarTalk with Neil DeGrasse Tyson and many more; and with Stitcher, we own one of the largest podcast apps and a network of original content from talent such as Katie Couric and LeVar Burton. We're on a mission to transform podcasting into a major part of the media landscape, and we're looking for like-minded enthusiasts to help.
The position
Midroll is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented intern with a passion for analytics to support the Analytics Team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Product, Content and Marketing teams, and leverage data to inform business decisions across the company.
Specifically, you'll:
• Create, maintain, and deliver dashboards and reports for key stakeholders
• Assist in any analysis leading to actionable insights with regards to the performance of Midroll podcasts or advertising campaigns
• Provide support with day-to-day ad hoc analyses and data requests from other departments
• Be encouraged to be proactive by conducting your own analyses and presenting the results
You're a great fit if you
• Are currently enrolled in the HEC Grande Ecole program
• Have a strong interest in data analytics and solving problems with data
• Are comfortable using Excel to analyze data and create reports
• Knowledge of SQL is not required but a plus
• You're a team player, results and detail-oriented, self-starter kind of person who likes to get stuff done
• You love radio and podcasts and think more people should be listening to them
