Job Description
KFMB Stations Group (CBS 8, The CW San Diego, 100.7 KFM-BFM and 760AM), a TEGNA company located in San Diego, CA , is seeking a Digital Account Manager to join their team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and coordinate the execution of all digital sales across all station websites, mobile and social media platforms for both local and national accounts
• Daily interaction with clients; this responsibility includes maintenance of all products including Search Engine Marketing, Extended Reach Networks and all other media
• Works in tandem with Account Executives, Sales Support, Research Director and Creative Services
• Monthly reporting on various digital products
• Attends sales meetings and training to obtain sales, product and process information and keep abreast of company products and services
• Partners with designated Account Executives in the development of new/incremental revenue
• Able to make decisions and solve problems independently in an effort to support the customer
• Takes the “hand-off” from Account Executives for maintenance of contracts, collections and overall customer service
• Regular tracking of client audience delivery across all products and services
• Coordinates with sales assistant to set up new customer accounts, contracts, order entry and revisions
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma required
• Undergraduate degree in marketing, mass communication or related field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft products including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Minimum 2 years of account engagement in a professional, fast paced sales environment
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadlines
• Ability to effectively solve problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management skills
• Experience managing:
◦ Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns
◦ Pay Per Click / Search campaigns
◦ Facebook and Instagram campaigns; and
◦ The team of people involved in the design/building of websites from start to finish
• Creativity, flexibility, and ability to change with our industry are also keys to success
