Workplace Events Program Manager Since we spend a lot of time in the office and with our co-workers, we’ve spent time building a workplace that’s a manifestation of our culture and brand; personal, dynamic and an instrument for technological innovation and efficient collaboration. As the Workplace Events Program Manager, you’ll make the most of our events across our global offices, being involved in the process from idea creation to implementation.
What you’ll do:
• Event Strategy: Collaborate with workplace team to develop event strategies that include input from from cross-functional teams and align with overall Pinterest strategy and branding
• Event Programming: Work with cross-functional teams and workplace management to ensure positioning, messaging, goals, deliverables, and tactics are achieved before, during, and after each respective event
• Event Production: Work with internal event partners including IT, culinary, security, building engineering, other vendor services and event stakeholders
• Collaborate with partner teams to continually refine best practices and standards across Pinterest, and then build on them for future event planning and execution
• Own ad hoc projects and day to day operations related to workplace services
What we’re looking for:
• Over 5 years of work experience in event management with an emphasis on program development, planning, budgeting, and event management
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong writing skills
• Enthusiastic, driven, positive, hard working professional who can rise to the occasion in high pressure situations
• Candidate should be happy and willing to roll up their sleeves to take care of all workplace related tasks, big or small
