Operations Manager, MNI
I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
Assist with the implementation and oversight of the MNI/TMI account administration. Serve as the liaison between the fulfillment house and account team in CT. Hold planning meetings with the appropriate parties to ensure programs are implemented correctly according to contract terms. Distribute instruction packets on schedule to production, fulfillment vendor, and other groups as identified. Maintain reporting to provide monthly updates regarding business activity. Ensure all deadlines are met to meet contractual requirements. Problem solve issues that arise during selection and implementation process. Provide follow-up monitoring to ensure program was successfully executed.
Provide backup assistance to fulfillment managers for management of titles as needed.
Document all meetings where new processes/promotions are discussed involving fulfillment vendor, printer or production department. Additional duties as assigned.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum one (1) year magazine or product fulfillment experience helpful.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be knowledgeable about basic direct marketing principles. Knowledgeable of
magazine or product fulfillment technologies, beneficial. Must have strong
communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Must be detail
oriented and profit minded. Must be able to prioritize multiple projects under strict
deadlines and meet and project deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good business judgment. Requires
considerable tact and diplomacy, particularly in dealing with non-Meredith service
providers. Must be planning oriented and able to organize diverse group of people and
operations. Must be familiar with personal computer and current applications.
Basic understanding of mechanical requirements of fulfillment
processing equipment is helpful.
