Responsibilities
• Carry out assigned provision and compliance responsibilities by working with the respective business partners such as geo tax teams, Corporate and Geo Accounting, Legal, Financial Planning & Analysis, Technical Accounting and other business operations groups. This includes preparation of certain tax accounting work-papers, including computation of book tax differences, supporting workpapers, ownership of US international tax computations as well as US Tax Reform calculations
• Responsible to document and analyze global tax and accounting developments impact on global tax provision. Analyze, reconcile and consolidate global tax accounts, including the impact of transactions to the tax provision
• Preparation of tax provision and federal/state income tax returns (including estimated tax payments) using Thomson Reuters OneSource software
• Ensure tax regulatory compliance as well as support the tax planning team (and other Autodesk business partners) in various projects. Assist with global tax data gathering and reporting. Perform tax research and data modeling
• Other special projects as they arise
• May telecommute as agreed upon with manager
Minimum Qualifications
• Master's Degree (Finance, Accounting, Taxation or related field)
• You have 3 years of accountant or tax associate experience
• You have 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:
◦ Income tax provision and accounting requirements under US GAAP (ASC 740 and related guidance)
◦ U.S consolidated corporate tax return preparation (both federal Form 1120 and various state tax returns) including attachments to tax returns. Performing detailed trial balance analysis, complex depreciation calculations, calculating book tax adjustments, and preparing/reviewing state apportionment calculations
• You have 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:
◦ Calculating, reviewing and reporting under ASC 740 in a high-tech industry environment
◦ People and project management: Proven experience in managing collaborative and cross-functional tax projects requiring expansive understanding of business operations and tax technical impacts
◦ US international tax expertise including calculation and review of Subpart F inclusion, Section 956 analysis, foreign tax credits, E&P, and tax pools
◦ US international tax expertise that includes modelling the computation and presentation of various schedules required for Form 5471 and Form 8858 filings
◦ Experience in income tax compliance and provision software such as OneSource and excel skills
• Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) certificate or internationally recognized accounting certificate
