The role:
We are looking for a strong Program Manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on supporting marketing operations across acquisition and engagement teams as well as external agencies. We are seeking candidates who are proactive, self-starters and have a proven track record of managing large cross channel marketing initiatives as well as an understanding of marketing and creative process and workflows. The ideal candidate should be an accomplished professional who possesses the passion, experience, skills and abilities to help support our expanding marketing reach.
What the job is:
• Collaborate with Marketing leads to define, plan and execute large cross functional campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide strategic and operational rigor to fully integrate marketing messages across all channels.
• Project manage through multiple connected workstreams, including creating and communicating timelines, identifying and resolving changes in scope and schedules against managed initiatives and reporting on status of marketing initiatives clearly, consistently and reliably to executive management and team members.
• Identify, track and communicate risks; work with subject matter experts to develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Establish and develop relationships and partnerships with internal and external team members.
• Work with cross-functional partners and strategic client to attain assets and distribute assets across all channels, ensuring consistency of creative and messaging.
• Understand and maintain focus on business value, objectives and KPI initiative is seeking to impact.
• Manage implementation of changes to marketing practice and process required by our marketing vendor or as determined internally to augment and improve our processes.
What a qualified candidate should possess:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
• Ability to lead efficient meetings through preparation and stakeholder engagement and an ability to guide a group towards agreed upon objectives.
• Able to adjust delivery approach, language and level of detail to meet audience needs; foster relationships even under difficult circumstances.
• Practical experience with data driven decision making and business metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to think in multiple ways – Not only tactically, but strategically and operationally. Must be able to assess the information that you have from multiple viewpoints and provide solutions that (hopefully) address the problem or opportunity.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills (at all levels internally, externally and cross-functionally).
• Able to objectively assess process and recommend improvements and well as practical experience implementing improvements.
• Detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Able to manage competing priorities with little supervisory input.
• Flexible and responsive to changing situations. A team player, comfortable with ambiguity and deadline pressures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and focused on achieving results.
• Can recognize and acknowledge the value of other's contributions, emotions and able to respond with empathy.
• Desire to work in fast-paced, multi-task, fluid environment capable of reacting instantly to changes in a competitive business environment
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in Agile Project Management in a Marketing or data driven organization or Marketing Operations Management in consumer facing marketing organization.
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale, cross channel marketing initiatives, including scope definition, schedule development and management, communications and stakeholder engagement activities
