Technical Artist - Rigging
We are seeking a skilled rigger for the Heroes of the Storm team to help bring the next epic hero into the Nexus. Your charge will be to craft rigs for our roster of Blizzard heroes. You will help animators turn handcrafted character models into living, breathing warriors in the game. You will be responsible for all technical art aspects of these characters from concept to completion.
Requirements
• Knowledge of rigging in Maya and/or 3ds Max
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, MEL, or MAXScript
• Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with the team
• Strong technical background with detail-oriented problem solving
• Passionate about playing and making games
• Great at multitasking in a dynamic environment
• Keen eye for good model topology
• Positive attitude
Pluses
• Experience with technical simulation, such as cloth or physics
• Modeling and animation skills
• Shipped an AAA game as a rigger
• Familiar with Blizzard universes and lore
