Purpose of the Role:
Primary owner of in-market retail activation across a set of resellers and/or region. Responsible for Trade Marketing (TM) plan activation across a set of resellers/region to drive capture rate and conversion.
General Scope of Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for Trade/Retail Marketing activation primarily within New Business and Online accounts.
Working closely with the Bose account teams to optimize Trade Marketing dealer funds, this position will be responsible for TM planning and execution across all New Business accounts as well as Online focused accounts. As the Bose marketing expert, this role will be responsible for:
• Developing and executing the most effective online/digital and in-store marketing plans to deliver revenue targets;
• Effectively building and maintaining relationships and fostering Bose advocacy and mindshare with our reseller partners;
• Employing a “test and learn” approach, this position will also be responsible for identifying, testing, measuring and reporting on appropriate new initiatives to drive the Bose business at these resellers.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact to the Sales team
• Be responsible for development of offline and online/digital trade marketing plans, working with Bose Digital and Media teams to develop the very best plans.
• Be responsible for the execution of TM plans with excellence across
• Be the marketing expert, building relationships with the sales account teams and reseller marketing teams.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget for each account supported
• Track and report on execution of TM tactical plans including Marketing calendar, investment plan and key initiatives.
• Ensure TM execution aligns with global asset plan, reducing need for additional regional asset requirements.
• Work with Regional Marketing Manager to identify local asset needs, verifying compliance with creative platform and localizations required.
Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years related Marketing experience. Experience in Trade/Retail Marketing, preferably in a consumer product or marketing services environment, preferred
• Strong understanding of omni-channel trends that drive traffic, conversion, advocacy and loyalty
• Experience in developing and executing omni-channel trade marketing plans
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy of data
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple, diverse businesses and appropriately balance time amongst multiple internal customers
• Strong communication skills – presentation, verbal and written – and the ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels, including senior leadership, account management team, reseller team and other external business partners
• Ability to work as part of team and build solid working relationships
• Analytical orientation with the ability to offer insight to recognize trends and course-correct activities as needed
• Ability to continuously seek innovative ways to streamline work and processes
• Travel required (25%)
