Job Description
KVUE is looking for an Integrated Marketing Strategist! The successful candidate will have excellent discipline and work ethic. We are looking for someone who is a dynamic problem solver and versatile learner, able to build lasting relationships with positivity.
Purpose
To work strategically with the sales staff to generate creative solutions that deliver customer results through our broadcast and digital assets, as well as, monitor campaign performance. This role will act as a Project Manager in creating, launching and implementing special projects for the Sales Department.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with KVUE sales and leadership team, Marketing Director, News Director and Consumer Insights to recommend and customize client solutions that meet client/category business objectives
• Attend sales calls with AE’s to better understand client needs, present recommendation’s and manage expectations
• Creative management of all production
• Work with Consumer Insights to ensure creative briefs/decks are updated and shared with the team as necessary (including updated capabilities)
• Participate in pipeline management as an extension of the sales team
• Work closely with Lead Gen by vertical to ensure opportunities are aligned
• Manage, train and implementation of all Hatch opportunities
• Conducts consistent cross-departmental meetings
• Works with Account Manager’s/Digital Account Manager’s to effectively recap all Sponsorships/Special Projects and Hatch campaigns
• Updates Sponsorship/Special Events calendar
• Other duties as assigned by DOS.
Performance Tracking
• Sponsorship/Special Events calendar updated
• Successful Project Management and campaign performance
• Production coordination
• Strong inter-office, inter-departmental relations.
Leading Indicators
• Appointments are set using briefs
• Increase in number of overall appointments
• Increase in close ratios
• Increase in Hatch sales
• Increase in Sponsorships/Special Projects
• Increase in production workflow efficiencies
Job Requirements
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of account engagement in a professional, fast paced sales environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure.
• Ability to effectively solve problems.
• Creative and able to adapt quickly to change.
• Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management.
• Familiar with SEO, SEM, Social Media, targeted display, mobile and video marketing strategies
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proven track record of exceeding expectations
